UK WON has run networks involving a diverse mix of organisations since 2001. Our experience shows that carefully facilitated networks can provide unique opportunities for knowledge sharing, peer review and psychological support. In particular UK WON's networks are designed to:
- promote practical learning related to everyday reality
- be time efficient & time sensitive
- avoid jargon
- be tailored to the needs of participants
- help participants avoid reinventing the wheel when changing their own organisations
- benchmark participants' organisations against leading-edge practice
- give participants a sense of ownership of the learning process
