About the Resilience Initiative

About Resilience

The Resilience website and Action Resource Kit (ARK) was created by a highly experienced team lead by the Confederation of British Industry and the UK Work Organisation Network.

It builds on the leading-edge practice developed within four exemplary European businesses, each of which played a key role in developing the ARK:
•    BT
•    EON
•    GSK
•    Hempel A/S

Invaluable research support was provided by Bath University, UK, the Danish Technological Institute and Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania.

Extensive advice, experience and guidance was provided by employers’ organisations, trade unions and experts with vast experience of resourcing workplace change. Some of their contributions are in Project Resources.
