Working with Boards and Senior Teams

Horizon-scanning, thought leadership and rehearsing the future

The pace of change for individuals, businesses and society means that more of the same is not an option – but how you adapt is in your hands. We can help inspire Boards to step out of their transactional world and lose their comfort zone by thinking differently, scanning the horizon to see what’s coming from afar and building scenarios to deal with it.

Fashions change, consumer demand changes, demographics change, ethical issues change and the climate changes. The way globalisation will impact on organisations will change and we don’t yet know who will follow Generations Y and Z.

We help Boards lead in the process of positive imagining and the creation of a proactive and entrepreneurial culture to confront multi-faceted and unpredictable change.

Workplace innovation sees organisations as systems of interdependent parts which need to be considered as a whole, leading to simultaneous benefits for businesses and their employees, and is evidence-based. It includes: good job design, self-managed teamworking, human-centred technologies, employee-driven improvement and innovation, flatter organisational structures, coaching styles of management, trust-based systems and procedures, employee voice in decision-making, shared & distributed (‘co-created’) leadership.
